MORTEN JUEL HANSEN
Science and technology of teams
Hei
I am a researcher based in Oslo, specializing in the fields of organizational psychology and -behavior. My research areas of interest include organizational change, project management, teamwork, digitization, and human-machine teaming.

Currently, I am focusing on exploring team collective intelligence, including its nature, drivers, and auxiliary technologies. I am particularly interested in understanding the roles played by systemic team processes and artificial intelligence in generating collective intelligence.

To achieve a comprehensive understanding of these topics, I use mixed methods in my research, which includes process studies in the wild (qualitative-exploratory) and experiments in laboratories (data science). I am a fan of open and inclusive science.
Background
My background is Nordic with a global influence. I grew up in the Faroe Islands and Denmark, and with my new family in Norway, I happily settled here. I have also been very fortunate to live (study or work) in USA, Spain, Japan, Chile, and Nigeria.
Prior to starting my PhD at BI Norwegian Business School, I was involved in start-ups and consultancy at Portus while also working at Copenhagen School of Design and Technology and Roskilde University as a lecturer and researcher. At BI Norwegian Business School I work as a PhD Candidate (end-stage) and lecturer at the Department of Leadership and Organizational Behaviour, and as a lecturer at the Department of Communication and Culture. From time to time, I tend to my sheep roaming in the Faroes.
